Yankees Sign Randy Winn, Say Goodbye To Damon

The New York Yankees signed Randy Winn to a 1 year 2 million dollar deal today, essentially ending any chance Damon had of returning to the team.
His chances of returning seemed increasingly slim the last couple weeks. Trading for Greg Golson, one of the Texas Rangers best prospect's yesterday seemed like the death blow to Damon's chances until today.
It is important to note that Girardi has stated that he is open to moving Curtis Granderson to left field for Brett Gardner to move to center.
Clearly the Yankees are ready for a Damon free outfield come April.
