Matsuzaka, Red Sox Bats Beat Astros

JJ StrausserContributor IJune 28, 2008

On Friday night Dice-K made his second start after coming of the DL after straining his rotator cuff. While Dice-K wasn't at his best he didn't need to be as the bats picked up right where they had left off against the D-Backs. Matsuzaka went only 5 innings but only gave up 2 hits, 3 walks, and struck out 4, J.D Drew hit his 15th home run (11th this month) and the Sox went on to win easily 6-1. Houston's only run came on a Reggie Abercrombie solo home run in the 8th inning off of Hideki Okajima. Write a New Article | Bleacher Report
