With one of the most anticipated regular season games in football history coming up tommorow, I ask a very simple question (I think the Black Eyed Peas sang it best) "where's the love?"
There is no doubt in my mind that this Patriots will go down in the record books as the one of, if not the best team in football history. They have a 'golden boy' quarterback who is not only on pace to smash the single season touchdown record, but is also dating Gisele! How can you hate that? You have one of the league's most notorious cry babies in Randy Moss who, after stints in the defunct Minnesota and Oaktown has turned into a poster boy for the NFL. He's smiling, laughing, having fun and scoring touchdowns. He's happy, so why hate on that? You little known Wes Welker who was abandoned by his former Dolphins team only to become an elite wide-out with the Pats. There are guys like Junior Seau and Teddy Bruschi, veterans who have continued their outstanding careers in New England, leading one of the best D's in the league.
Ok, so maybe there are a couple reasons why someone could possibly hate the Patriots. Let's retrace the steps for a second. Brady- can't hate him. I don't care what anyone says this guy is a stud; a 6th rounder who will be going to the hall of fame, so no hate for Brady. Moss? Ok, maybe I can see why people hate Randy. He was a quitter with the Raiders, he admitted it and wanted out. Raiders' fans I understand why you may hate him as he's now a league leader in touchdowns and makes the game look so easy.
Junior Seau also very susceptible to the hatred. Retiring from the Chargers several years ago (I remember the press conference, there were tears) only to COME BACK to the league to play for the already amazing Pats team at the time and lead their team on the defensive side. Oh, and I believe he has three interceptions on the year.
So those are really the only two guys that have legitimate reasons for hate to be reigned upon them. So why hate the whole team? Why is everyone rooting for Indy to reign blows on the Pats on Sunday.
Right, I forgot about Belichick. Hated by the media, fans, other coaches players and pretty much everyone besides his own team, Bill shocked the league with 'spy gate' early in the season only to run-a-muck of the league, pounding every team into submission. Just when people were slightly turning to root for the Pats and possibly enjoy cheering for them, the Washington Redskins welcomed the Patriots into their home only to be embarassed. It was like having that dinner guest come to your house only to have sex with your wife at the end of the night (think about it...it was that kind of game). The Pats were up by 38 only to keep Brady in the game and embarrass the 'Skins defense further. So, ok I can see why hate is bestowed on Belicheck.
But now comes talks of taking a cheap shot at Brady if he's in the game late during a blowout. I believe the term of choice this week was 'send a message' to a team that's making you look like you belong in the CFL. But is that really the answer? Sending an 11 man blitz on Brady, who will probably just dump the pass off for a touchdown while eluding all 11 men? Come on now. I'm all for sending a message but this ridiculous. The hate is building up against this team and Belicheck has helped build up that ball of fury.
Now pin this hated team against the 'saintly' Colts.
The man who can't do or say anything wrong Peyton Manning. Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne, guys who have been stellar their whole career and are all smiles for the cameras come Sunday. Joseph Addai and Kenton Keith, one a youngster with high promise and crazy talent. The other a CFLer who was scouted by the masterful Colts only to excel this season while Addai was injured. And how can we forget Mr. Vinatieri, the ex-pat who won the superbowl with the Colts last season. How dare he!
So yes, I can see now why everyone is hating on the Patriots this Sunday and is hoping for Indy to spank down the Pats.
I am what is called a realist. I see reality as it is, no sugarcoating. So forgive me if I say that those who hate on the Pats fail to see the reality that is human error. So what is Bill, Tom, Randy, Junior and the rest have made mistakes in the past. These guys are human, but are on the verge of becoming superhuman.
They will beat down the Colts this weekend only to make everyone that them further. But that only fuels their drive to win. So hate away my friends, hate away.

There is reason to suspect that the New England Priots are basically a PED-fed team. When the Feds busted Greg Anderson during their BALCO investigation, they found Tom Brady's phone number in his cell phone. Brady has had a bad shoulder for years, but it miraculously clearedup this year - the year Harrison got busted for HGH. BTW, HGH is undetectable without a blood test, so Harrison and the rest of his cronies are free to keep using HGH in their amazingly injury free march to another Super Bowl. BTW, designer steroids are also undetectible, and Brady/Patriots are obviously dialed into the BALCO/designer steroid network. So how easy i it to hate the cheating Patriots? Very easy.

Could you back up this statement a bit . . "it is very easy to hate cheaters" . . . Don't get me wrong, hating the Pats is not necessarily a bad thing. But hating them because they are simply "that good" is a far more legitimate reason than hating them because they're "cheaters". Think about it . . . even if their record of past accomplishments is tarnished (which seems to be the case) this whole spygate thing was discovered in the first game of the year. Their record to date is 9-0, so please tell me where the cheating occured? As a matter of fact, someone please tell me where the cheating occured at all? Exactly what did the Pats do that hasn't been done for years by most teams, who also thought they we're operating under the rules of the league, as they understood them. Please describe the offense and then show me how it enabled the Patriots to gain an unfair advantage at any time over an opponent. Please don't talk about how Goddell fined Belichick and the Pats and took away their first round pick. He was enforcing the rules on everyone and was using a gold standard coach to make a statement.

Next there our there's our boy Billy who should take credit for most the animosity towards this championship caliber team. Is it possible for the Patriots to continue to be cheating right now? YES! very possible. Watch the Patriots protection once, they pick up nearly every blitz. Either they are the smartest people ever, or they continue to find out other teams signals. Also helping my point, why do teams that switch their blitzing schemes at the line and not via their coach on the sideline successful at getting to Brady, while others who have the blitz called by a coach run towards Brady to find one of their lineman staring right at him. Simply watch the line play of the PATS compared to another team and u will understand they probably still cheat in some way or another. Why else pass 50 times a game? Because you can pass block a blitz, not run through it. Tom Brady knows instantly who to throw the ball to because a blitz came from there? BULLSHIT. It is very possible he knows where the blitz is coming from BEFORE the play VIA a man in the booth watching the defensive signals that they watched on film together all week. With that being said, the Patriots may be a very good team cheaters or not, but they won't be able to play with the Colts who should've beaten them without a few starters, or the Physical Jaguars who don't need to blitz and will smack Randy "Push Off" Moss in the mouth until he cries. Bill B. will go down in History as one of the greatest coaches ever, and Barry Bonds will go down as one of the greatest baseball players ever. But BOTH Will go down as CHEATERS!

Jimmy Johnson who is my favorite coach said that was his job when he first started to coach he would film the co-ordinators.. What you think he did not use the film to help him in DALLAS...

Actually yes there is a rule that you can't steal signals. All teams do it but Mr. arrogant himself Billacheat got caught. I live up in Canada and I honestly can't find a pats fan here. Read the article on ESPN about Billacheat. Its true, outside the game he basically calls everyone an asshole. He's a bitter evil man. I can't imagine him being married and have kids. I am sorry. Someone help me out here. Understandably, poor losers need to complain about something. The goal of the salary cap is to keep dynasties from forming. The patriots have accomplished what they have by being smarter and working harder than everyone else. Simple. Brady doesn't have Peyton's arm but he reviews the tapes of his opponents over and over and prepares himself. We don't reward raw talent in America, we reward hard work. Eventually the patriots will lose, probably sometime next year. I just hope it is to a team who has worked and prepared themselves just as hard as the pats and Belichick do. Enough said.

I am a Chiefs fan, we dont play the Pat's hardly ever...I love football, and I absolutely cannot stand the Pats...they are the most boring team ever to win. Wanna see football, watch Green Bay and the Giants. Do they even have a running back? I cant recall any one ....and Moss, boohoo, Mr. "I dont want to sweat" himself...Man when he was with Oakland he could have beat us if he just stuck out his arm to catch the damn ball. In fact I cannot remember a single memorable game involvintg the Pat's. I think they win because they are so boring the other teams fall asleep.

I am a pats fan(and have been since even before their first superbowl loss to the bears) nuff said. Why not just give credit where it is due? The Pats had one of the best regular seasons ever and the giants had one of the best post season runs ever. the giants beat the pats the same way the pats beat the rams in their first sb win, by having a great game plan, executing and never giving up. Brady did his job by delivering the td drive at the end. Pats defense was good but couldn't hold on. The Giants had a great game...I wish they didn't, but they did. They earned the win. I get so sick of idiots talking about "milking yourselves" or calling Brady a retarded asshole. Get a life. Get some self-esteem or a psychiatrist of your own if you care that much about Brady or you need to laugh at the fans of another team to feel good about yourself. Move out of your parent's basement, quit your job at mcdonalds, stop playing video games and cheer for your own team!
