Former PrideFC, Dream and UFC middleweight Denis Kang has officially signed with Canadian MMA promotion W-1 MMA after recently being released by the UFC.

W-1 MMA CEO Jack Bateman confirmed the signing himself via his official Twitter page.

“W1 sign’s #1 free angent Denis Kang to a multi fight deal,” Bateman tweeted regarding his newest acquisition.

Kang was considered one of the planet’s elite middleweights during an impressive 23-fight streak just a few years back, however after the run came to a screeching halt, Kang has gone 4-5 including an uneventful 1-2 record inside the Octagon.

He is expected to make his W-1 MMA debut on March 20th.
