Visitors Prevail in the Big Apple

The New York Yankees and the New York Mets played a historical doubleheader on Friday.

The first game began at 2PM at Yankee Stadium. The game ended at 6:24PM with the Mets winning 15-6.

The second game began at 8PM at Shea Stadium. The game ended at 11:37PM with the Yankees winning 9-0.

Despite the visitors winning both games, both teams scored 15 runs in the two games.

The series will continue on Saturday at Shea Stadium at 3:55PM (ET) on Fox. Andy Pettitte (8-5) will start for the Yankees. Johan Santana (7-6) will start for the Mets.

The series will end on Sunday at 1PM (ET) on WPIX-11, WTXX-20 and TBS. Rasner (4-5) is scheduled to start for the Yankees while Perez (5-5) is scheduled to start for the Mets.
