Tony Stewart has the whole nascar garage buzzing with what his plans are gonna be for next year.Smoke is the most talented free agent to be in nascar history.
The 2 time sprint cup champion has been rumored to be buying majority ownership of Hass racing.A lot of the insiders in the racing world has fellow cup driver Ryan Newman following suit and teaming up with Stewart to form a formidable one two punch for Stewart motorsports.
Stewart has a chance in a lifetime to follow in the footsteps of his hero AJ Foyt and become a team owner as well as a driver for his own team.Tony has the talent to be successful in a hurry, his no nonsense hellbent on winning and second is the first loser is exactly what a new teams needs.
With just about everybody from Jayski to Larry McReynolds and everybody in between speculating that Smoke will be driving for his own team next year my bet is Stewart will aquire Hass motorsports but will be driving for Hendrick Motorsports and the #5 ride.
Stewart would get technical support from Hendricks for his own team and drive the #5 for 2009 and beyond ala(DALE EARNHARDT) who established DEI and drove for RCR.That way Smoke would get the best of both worlds.
Tony has been rumored to have been at Hendrick Motorsports last week.Just like the old saying where there is SMOKE THERE IS FIRE!
