Ok guys, here is the first one. I brought up the open challenge and enough of you guys seemed interested. So the way it will work is I will list the fights here in the article and everyone posts a comment with their picks. We are only picking the fights, you can add in how if you want, but we are going off of picked winners only.

What happens if there's a tie? Maybe there should be a tiebreaker, like we each pick how many fights will finish by decision, submission, and ko/tko, with whoever is the closest winning. And perhaps we could have standings calculated after every event, with one point per correct pick, and see who is the top scorer after 10 events or so.

Whoa, interesting pick there Jordan. I can't remember the last title fight that went to a split decision, if any. So you think the main event will go all five rounds with two judges giving it to Rampage? That would have to be a really close fight, but if you're right, I tip my hat off to your MMA wisdom.

It will be a close fight. I like both Rampage and Forrest. Forrest is probably the toughest fighter in the UFC. I think he will do better then people think against Rampage.

You could also go with someone will have a slight trickle of blood and Joe Rogan will act like the guy needs a transfusion after the fight, or he spots imaginary blood at least twice. Rogan is really hoping for a blood bath and he makes it happen in his mind on every card.

Went with my heart on the Griffin pick and with my gut on the Aurelio pick -- Aurelio impressed me a lot in his last fight and I think he cam submit Griffin.

Jackson is a tough opponent, but if Griffin can weather the intial storm, then I like his chances, but if he doesn't, then it's an easy victory for Jackson.

I am going to take a stab here even though I have fallen out of the top 20 MMA writers, which is lame. My next step to fall further into oblivion will be to pick every fight wrong.
