No I am not mentally disabled.  This thought came into my mind when I heard Mike Waufle will be the Raiders D-line coach in 2010.

I know that Al Davis doesn't like to pay his coach's high salaries, Tom Cable is getting $2M in 2010.  He doesn't like coach's who want lots of control.  I know that the Raiders organization did not want photos of Gruden with Raiders personnel to be on the internet.

But think about the time that Waufle was the Raiders D-line coach...1998-2003.  Who was the head coach of that era, Jon Gruden!  When J.P Losman signed with the Raiders rumors began to spread it was setting up Jim Fassel to coach Oakland in 2010.

Tom Cable was unaware of Hue Jackson's interview with the team, according to CSN California.  Cable was asked about his thoughts on Jackson and Cable replied ,"Who?"  If Cable is not being told that the Raiders are interviewing assistants then is he future in doubt?  Many have doubted his return since the loss to the Ravens, some have doubted his return because of a 5-11 record and saying this team could have reached the playoffs without Russell starting for so long.  But not knowing of interviews for staff, doesn't sound good for Cable's future.

Gruden has never said anything bad about the Raiders and said "If Al Davis asks me to return you know I would."   He wants the job and has a great resume.  He has a Super Bowl ring, we haven't won a Super Bowl since 1983, which is 26 years ago today.

  I rest my case!
