As Arsenal still lack a powerful striker with Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner absent with injury, Arsene Wenger is looking to the January transfer window to find a solution. Rumours have circled around many players, but one has stumbled upon talented Frenchman Loic Remy.
After the Nice striker was spat on by his fans after the French club's failure to beat Auxerre, the Frenchman is eager to depart the French Ligue 1 and play elsewhere.
The 23-year-old is extremely talented, and after a stellar season last year where he was the club's top scorer with 13, Remy is capable of big things. At 23, Remy still has a big future, and with Wenger's knack of turning French strikers into sensations, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go after Loic Remy.
Remy is a fast, powerful striker with great balance and a fierce finish. The former Lyon frontman is versatile across the front line, but is best in the lead striker role, which would fit into Arsenal's regime perfectly.
Although Remy would be a little pricey for the Gunners, the French international is a talented striker who Arsenal could use off the bench or as their main strike force.
Wenger needs a striker. and Loic Remy could just be the one.
