2010 NFL Teams Needs & Solutions

By Derek Lofland.

Sadly, the 2009 NFL season ended for 20 of the 32 teams before the postseason even began, and it is already time to look at next year for all those teams.

We are releasing the first of a two-part article for team strengths, weaknesses and needs for the 2010 season, a state of the franchise and a possible solution to fix problems for all 32 teams.

Each franchise's page includes the points scored and allowed for the season, the average yards gained and allowed per game, team strengths, weaknesses and ways to improve their roster. We have listed a draft pick that might help each team and even a fantasy player to watch for 2010.

(All draft rankings are based on rankings by Scouts, Inc. of ESPN.)

The first installment will deal with the 20 teams that failed to make the playoffs, and the second installment will deal with the 12 playoffs teams. We will be releasing that installment a week or two after the Super Bowl.

Non-playoffs teams:

Atlanta Falcons
Buffalo Bills
Carolina Panthers
Chicago Bears
Cleveland Browns
Denver Broncos
Detroit Lions
Houston Texans
Jacksonville Jaguars
Kansas City Chiefs
Miami Dolphins
New York Giants
Oakland Raiders
Pittsburgh Steelers
San Francisco 49ers
Seattle Seahawks
St. Louis Rams
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tennessee Titans
Washington Redskins
