I've been looking around for Randy Orton news (as I always do), and found one talking about him starring in or at least in a supporting role for a WWE Studios produced movie. The title going around is "Big Red"
Here's brief description of the film:
"In 1965, as the world changes all around him, 12-year-old Andy Nichol comes of age when he's asked by his favorite teacher, Mr. Simon, to partner with school outcast Big Red for an English assignment."
There's no word on what role Randy is going to have as yet, but I don't think it's going to be a major role because Vince McMahon said that he doesn't want the movie to have to take the Superstars off of TV for 2-3 months for filming.
There are apparently four films in the works right now, including Big Show's "Knucklehead", and John Cena's "Brother's Keeper"
This news comes after it was announced that Vince McMahon has taken full control of the WWE Studios, and that since the WWE is in PG, that all the movies coming out of the studio will be Rated PG-13.
Personally, I would love an action film starring Orton instead of a drama. I don't even care if it will be a third installment of the Marine, because he looks the part and he's definitely a better actor than Cena and DiBiase. Nonetheless, I am excited for this.
