The 2009-2010 Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni has been fired. According to the media, the Miami Dolphins have officially hired Mike Nolan as the new Defensive Coordinator. Mike Nolan was recently the defensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos. His defense was ranked 7th in the NFL in yards allowed in a game. Also ranked 3rd in passing yards allowed.

Mike Nolan coached the San Francisco 49ers before he became the Denver Broncos D-Coordinator. Nolan spent four seasons coaching the 49ers, halfway through the 2008 season, Nolan got fired. His record was 18-37. Nolan left the Broncos, less than 24 hours later, the Dolphins took em' off the market.

Now that the Dolphins have got a new defensive coordinator, they should start looking at the market for a free safety, a defensive end, and a linebacker. Jason Taylor and Jason Ferguson are both in their 30's; They might not be coming back in 2010.
