According to Howard Eskin of WIP Radio and NBC Philadelphia, in the 2009 season the younger players on the Eagles roster had been asking for advice from second string QB Kevin Kolb on the sidelines before heading over to Donovan McNabb. I’d like to explore the possible implications of this.

First off and most obviously, does this mean that the younger players – the future – of this organization do not trust McNabb’s decision making skills? Well… ya it does, McNabb is an outstanding talent but he more than often makes poor or hurried decisions with the ball; he’s constantly throwing balls in the dirt and trying to fit in passes where they don’t fit. Perhaps playing those two weeks under Kolb (when McNabb was injured) showed the rest of the team the light; the light that is Kevin Kolb.

I want to re-iterate to any non-believers that this is not the view.....
