2010 has begun my fellow football (or soccer) fans, and so has the brazilian football season. last year ended with an fight to the last round of the brazilian league (the campeonato brasileiro) where four teams still had chances of earning the title. São Paulo, Plameiras, Internacional and Flamengo had chances, and it was Flamengo who seized it.

Flamengo has brought Wagner Love, São paulo once again hired Marcelinho Paraíba and Corinthians brought in the experienced Roberto Carlos, to play along side Ronaldo.

In their first game, São Paulo and Corinthians, which are favourites for this years libertadores have disapointed, but the most important players on both sides haven`t yet played. Flamengo started with a 3x2 win. Who will earn this years libertadores?
