Plenty of interesting games this week, with all top seven teams in action.
Oregon fans have to be hoping for a few big upsets down the homestretch. With some breaks, the Ducks could be ranked No. 1 come Sunday, but that's a bet I wouldn't take.
Here's the rundown of the upset watch...
No. 21 Wisconsin at No. 1 Ohio State
No chance if PJ Hill doesn't play; he's questionable right now.
If the RB is able to go, Wisconsin can hang with Ohio State physically. The morass that is the Big Ten has yet to give the Buckeyes any sort of test.
Florida State at No. 2 Boston College
Here's what I like:
BC is coming off an emotional victory that showed their vulnerability. Florida State has the athletes to manhandle an undersized Eagles team.
The problem is the Noles offense, which is average at best. If FSU's defense can make enough plays to hold BC to 14 points, this could be the end to the Eagles' title dreams.
No. 3 LSU at No. 17 Alabama
This game means just as much for Nick Saban as it does for his players.
Alabama will be a raucous environment—and don't underestimate the effects of the recent dismissals of LSU linebackers Derek Odom and Jeremy Benton, and the suspension of backup QB Ryan Perilloux.
Perilloux brings a change of pace to the LSU offense. His absence simplifies the game plan for the Tide defense and removes a valuable weapon from the Tiger sideline.
Expect this one to be decided by fewer than seven points.
