Cristiano Ronaldo More Dangerous To the EPL Gone Than at Manchester United

Its funny a player of Ronaldo's destructive calibre, growing day by day in maturity and confidence, and well learned on the English game; and I find that I am in no way excited about his potential departure; and in fact when I sat to think it through I realised that "this fella is by far more dangerous out of the hands of the Mancs than in it."

I am an Arsenal fan by the way, so now that should put some perspective on why I am so concerned about my state of mind.

The truth is firstly, Ronaldo is just one man. Fine he might be the best out their but teams have always won and will continue to win without the best. Plus he has never given Arsenal any problems. We have just the right solution(s) to handle him.

Secondly Real are so desperate for him that the asking price is rising relentlessly. Although they have stated that they would never buy a player for as high as €100m, the price is slowly approaching €90m.

Now there are world class players lying in wait for a club like Manchester United to come pick them up—what with their current position as Premier League and Champions League champions.

In my opinion, I would rather have Christiano Ronaldo all day long in the Premier League next season than an extra €90m in the hands of Manchester United as early on as July.

(Or better still to see him in the reserves as has been the reported threat—but we all know that's not going to happen).

Lets all hope the beautiful stubbornness of Sir Alex Ferguson comes to the rescue.
