This is the story of a guy who had tickets to the game in which Wilt scored 100 points. He was a college student at the time, and one of his professors had scheduled an exam for the next day, so he decided to give away his ticket so he could study. As a result, he missed out on seeing Wilt score 100.
Then, FORTY-FOUR years later, he’s a successful businessman in L.A., and a season-ticket holder for the Lakers. He gives away tickets to a Lakers/Raptors game in order to attend a birthday party for a friend. Turns out, that was the game in which Kobe scored 81 !
So this poor guy had a chance to see the two highest scoring individual NBA games in HISTORY, forty-four years and 3,000 miles apart, and ends up giving away his ticket to BOTH games!
