Breaking News: John Cena's Back Injured; Surgery a Possibility

In recent news, it is said that John Cena is suffering from a few bulging discs.

This is very painful and may require surgery.

While we, as fans, do not know much, we can more or less determine that this is the reason John Cena will not be facing WWE Champion Sheamus at the Royal Rumble later this month.

If John Cena does, in fact, require surgery, this raises some questions in my mind (as well as yours I'm sure).

For example, what will the WWE do without its face? Without its star player?

Would Kofi Kingston receive an even greater push? Would DX split to bring two of RAW's biggest faces back to the singles game?

On the flip side of things, how would Cena's injury fit into the story lines of RAW? Would creative use it to push Sheamus even further? A lot can be done with this.
