David Cutcliffe may be making a return trip to Knoxville to become the next head coach at Tennessee.  This being reported in Knoxville as AD Mike Hamilton is set to meet with Cutcliffe later this evening concerning the vacancy left by Lane Kiffin on Tuesday.

Cutcliffe has reportedly spoken to Duke AD Kevin White already today to inform him of the meeting between himself and Hamilton.

As many Vol fans know, Cutcliffe took his name out of the running for the head coaching job at Tennessee last year.  He stated that his reason was out of respect for outgoing coach Phillip Fulmer, a longtime friend and colleague.

Reportedly, there is no offer on the table just yet but one is expected and we will see if this story develops any further.
