He wasnt even made an offer and yet he still managed to turn down the University of Tennessee in an interview with the Denver Post on Wednesday night.

Many people had speculated around Knoxville last year that Calhoun was next on the list for AD Mike Hamilton if Kiffin had said no.

Calhoun and The Air Force Academy released a statement reiterating that they were dedicated to the mission of the cadets at the Academy and that they were hard at work recruiting and preparing for the 2010 season.

Calhoun has taken Air Force to a bowl game all three years he has been at the Academy so far and had at least eight wins per season in each of those campaigns.  Air Force had posted losing records the three previous years before Calhoun's arrival   in Colorado Springs.
