The 2010 NFL Mock Draft that Will Actually Happen
Everyone has their own opinion...yet after a while, opinion's start to look a like one another. Here is the mock draft that will look most like what actually happens. Mark my words...be not afraid... this is the real deal and you can bet on it.
Even though it's a little different than EVERY OTHER mock draft. Those guys set the standards...but haven't been right for a long time.
Round 1- Pick 1 (St. Louis)
JIMMY CLAUSEN—St. Louis has been towards the top of the NFL draft a few years in a row. The reason is because they haven't done something about the glaring hole at the quarter back position. Suh is the best player in the draft, but he's not going to make St. Louis a candidate to win the most "up for grabs" division in football. Besides, they took a D-Lineman the year before last in the first round. Clausen is going to make a serious impact in the NFL...and soon.
Round 1- Pick 2 (Detroit Lions)
Russell Okung—With Stafford spending so much time on his rear, he hasn't thrown the ball to Calvin Johnson as much as it'll take for this team to win. Again, Suh is the best player, but the Lions need to fix the line so that the talented guys that they drafted the last two years can light things up.
Round 1- Pick 3 (Tampa Bay)
Ndamukong Suh—Ok Ok, now he goes. And finally to a team with a history of studly defensive players. THIS is a good fit and is a combo that will show an immediate change in the attitude of the limping Tampa Bay Defense.
Round 1- Pick 4 (Washington)
Sam Bradford—So I finally agree with something that the big guys are saying, though it wouldn't surprise me if Shanahan went O-line. If Okung is still here, I think that's who he picks, and then he'll get Tony Pike in the next round. Otherwise, the folks in our nation's capitol better get used to this pretty boy.
Round 1- Pick 5 (Kansas City)
CJ Spiller—alright, alright...stop laughing. THIS is going to happen. KC has A TON of holes and this one is enormous. Getting Spiller takes KC one step closer to their style of winning football games. And he will play very well with Cassel. So when everyone is yelling "WHAT?" at your draft party...you can say "I knew this would happen"
