Where's Puma? PUMA WPS Match Ball Appears All Over Philly

Todd CivinSenior Writer IJanuary 13, 2010

Though I'd never reported on a ball before, the new PUMA WPS match ball seems to be the story bouncing around the streets of Philadelphia.

As reported yesterday here on Bleacher Report, the official PUMA WPS Match ball will be unveiled Thursday, Jan. 14 at the NSCAA Soccer Convention in Philadelphia.

The unveiling of the top-secret pill will also be carried on Fox Soccer Channel.

Yesterday a sneak peak of the ball was seen on the stairs that Rocky ascended in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Today, the famed PUMA Pill was spotted amongst the spaghetti squash and rutabaga at the Philly Italian Market.

Local Philadelphians have been left wondering, "Yo, where will the PUMA WPS Match ball pop up next?"

Though I am merely one of many media outlet messengers in PUMA's clever suspense building marketing campaign, I feel quite certain that the ball will appear somewhere in Philly tomorrow, and on Bleacher Report as well. Stay tuned for the next segment of "Where's PUMA?"

You can track the ball's progress throughout the week at wps.pumafootball.com or visit our Bleacher Report slideshow following the festivities as we trace the PUMA WPS match ball's journey through the City of Brotherly Love.
