Mats Sundin Should Stay in Toronto

Trevor OramContributor IJune 25, 2008

Will being a big Leafs fan in my childhood and still being one today, I think it will be a big mistake if the Leafs just let Sundin - the face of the club over the last 14 years - go.

I think that Sundin has a few good years left in his career. The leafs are in the rebuilding stage but they still need Sundin, to give the younger players some help around the club not only on but off the ice.

Now that the Leafs are parting ways with Tucker and Wellwood, the team is going to be in hard need for some scoring. Sundin is the man to do that so they should keep Sundin around for the rest of his career.
