Alabama Crimson Tide: Kirby Smart To Remain In Tuscaloosa.

Alabama defensive coordinator, Kirby Smart will remain in Tuscaloosa for at least one more year.
In a statement released Monday afternoon, Smart confirmed that he will not accept the offer of $750,000 per year from his Alma mater, the University of Georgia.
The decision to stay with Nick Saban and the Tide was apparently not an easy one for the 34-year-old defensive prodigy. Reports are that at one point Smart had agreed to return to Athens before rethinking his decision.
Although he will most likely not earn as much money at Alabama, he may be in a better position to advance his career.
Kirby Smart will be a head coach somewhere soon, and quite possibly at UGA if Mark Richt does not get things pulled together soon.
