Subway Series: Doubleheader in One Day

Mike DiMauro@miked31784Senior Writer IJune 24, 2008

I think it is great to see both New York stadiums hosting the Subway Series on the same day.

It shows off the baseball pride in the city of New York.

Though I think it's a good to have the doubleheader at both stadiums, it's also a bad idea.

I feel that they could have a day where both teams would play two games at Shea Stadium on Friday and then have a game at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.

If this involved any two other teams, this would not happen, but since this is New York City, it can happen.

Remember, Fox 61 will have both games.
