Playoff Preview- Wild Card Week
Three of the four playoff series during the wild card playoffs is going to be week 17 rematches. The Bengals v. Jets, Ravens v. Patriots, Eagles v. Cowboys, and Packers v. Cardinals will be playing each other this upcoming week.

The first of the four wild card playoff games to be played is going to be the Cincinnati Bengals v. New York Jets. Then Bengals went 5-4 the second half of their season and 1-3 in their final four games. One of their three losses in the final four games was against the Jets in Giants Stadium. The Jets were 5-3 in the second half of their season, and after a loss to New England in week 11, they won five of their final six games. The key to the game is whichever defense plays better should win the game. My prediction is the Jets beat the Bengals 23-14.

The second game to be played this weekend, the Saturday prime time game, is going to be the Philadelphia Eagles v. Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles went 6-2 in the last eight games. The Cowboys, who same claim are the hottest team in the NFL right now, won their last three games and five of their last eight games. I do not feel that Romo will not end the thirteen year playoff slump the Cowboys have been in. The embarrassing loss last week and the possibility of losing to their rivals three times this season will give the Eagles the motivation to be ready for this game. My prediction is the Eagles will win 27-23.

The third game to be played this weekend, the first game on Sunday, is the Baltimore Ravens v. New England Patriots. In the last 8 games of the season, the Ravens went 5-3. In the Pats last 8 games, they went 4-4. In their week 4 meeting, the Pats beat the Ravens 27-21. Even though Welker is out for the rest of this season, the Pats should be able to continue their undefeated record at home by beating the Ravens 20-14 win.

The final wild card playoff game to be play is the Green Bay Packers v. Arizona Cardinals. Ever since the lost to Tampa Bay in week 9, the Packers have been 7-1, and one play away from being 8-0. I feel they are the hottest team in the NFL right now. The Cardinals went 5-3 in their last eight games of the season. The meeting between the two teams during week 17 was meaningless. The problem with the Cardinals is they are really banged up. Bolden has a high ankle sprain and a sprained MCL. Rodgers-Cromartie and Rolle both have nagging leg injuries which might not keep them out of the game, but will keep them from playing at 100%. I predict the Packers win 27-17, which would create a Packers v. Vikings showdown in the divisional playoffs if the Eagles can beat the Cowboys.
