All throughout sports, there are fans that are loud, and fans that are quiet. Arena's and stadiums worldwide feature some of the best fans there is that have made sports what they are today.

This list counts down the top fans in all of sports, ranging from Baseball, Hockey, Football, and Basketball.

10. Boston Red Sox

91754075

For a team that went through decades of heartache prior to 2004, they sure made a lot of noise at Fenway Park for those eighty six years.

A sea of red is always the sight at the beginning of a broadcast at Fenway Park, and for a team with such rich history, it is no wonder why.

9. Boston Celtics

86026735

TD Banknorth Garden has been the site for years. Just like the Red Sox, it has seen it's bad days come and go. 2008 was the year for the Celtics, and their passionate and loyal fans showed up in record number.

The picture paints the story for you. A sea of green and a whole ton of towels, it wouldn't be a list without the Celtics.

8. Detroit Red Wings

92326053

Hockey Town, Joe Louis Arena. Need I say more? When you think of the NHL you either think the Original Six or the Detroit Red Wings.

Whether it's the 11 Stanley Cups or the octopus you see on the ice every now and again, there is no hockey fan more passionate in the US than the ones from Detroit.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers

93358602

Heinz Field has always been predominately yellow. Look into the crowd and you will see thousands of 'Terrible Towels' being swung that could distract Joe Montana himself. Throw in a few 'Go Steelers Go!' chants and you got yourself one heck of a loud stadium.

Loyal to their team, players, and coaches. Steeler fans are among the class of the NFL.

6. Montreal Canadiens

95609039

'Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole Ole!'. The Bell Centre, loud, passionate, red, blue, and an awesome place to visit.

At the moment the Canadiens aren't giving Habs fans much to cheer about, but the twenty-four Stanley Cups tell a different story. If you're a hockey player and playing poorly in Montreal, expect some boos. These fans expect only the best and the brightest.

5. Nebraska Cornhuskers

537373

College Football or College Basketball, they always turn out in record numbers. Some with corn on their head, and others just dressed in red chanting their lungs out.

Cornhusker fans are very underrated, just like their team. Give them a good play or a touchdown, and they'll yell for the whole world to hear.

4. Michigan Wolverines

91022164

With a name like Wolverines, who wouldn't cheer? Lately, things haven't been too positive for Michigan, but I'm sure it will pick up.

Michigan Stadium is rocking in every football game that is held. With many important games that have defined College Football today, Wolverine fans have been their for every minute of it.

3. Duke Blue Devils

84932600

With a capacity of 9,314, Cameron Indoor Stadium is small, yet loud. A sea of blue is the event that everyone looks forward to, and the chanting is among the best in College Basketball.

Win, lose, or tie, Duke fans are there in strength.

2. Liverpool

93286571

Yes, it's football (or soccer for those that are less educated).

'You'll Never Walk Alone' is the song that is sung at the beginning and end of games. The banners fly, the scarfs held high and the chants of "Fernando Torres Liverpool's Number Nine" fill the air.

You can't find a more passionate bunch of fans in all of sports.

1. Barcelona

93483895

Yes, it's soccer once again. For those that were expecting a College team to make No. 1, think again.

The Nou Camp is loud and never quiet. The banging of drums is always heard, and fans flock from around the world to see this team play. Sold out for years to come, Barcelona takes the No. 1 spot.
