Bob Arum, promoter for Manny Pacquiao, informed on Wednesday night that the proposed March 13 fight between Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not going to happen.

From Las Vegas, Arum said, "The fight's off."

The two sides had met with a mediator for more than nine hours on Tuesday, but were apparently unable to come to an agreement.

Arum stated that Pacquiao's next fight would likely be against junior-middleweight Yuri Foreman on March 13 or March 20.
