Harvin Earns Offensive Rookie Of The Year

The Associated Pressed voted Percy Harvin as the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Harvin dominated the voting as much as he outran defenses all season long. He received 41 of the 50 votes for the award.

Harvin this season, had 60 receptions for 790 yards and six touchdowns; rushed 15 times for 135 yards; and returned 42 kickoffs for 1,156 yards (27.5 per) and two touchdowns, one covering 101 yards.

Percy Harvin has shown he can be dangerous when he gets his hands on the ball. He is being feared by teams as a kickoff returner as much as Devon Hester was a couple of years ago.

Harvin is known as the Little Phenom, because plays much bigger than his small 5'11 180 pound frame. Harvin is the sixth Viking to receive the award and the second in 3 years.

With the regular season over, Harvin has shown that he is the X-factor(spark) that the Vikings needed this season. With the defense putting all efforts to stop Adrian Peterson. Harvin has been making play after play all season long.
