Breaking down Playoff matchups. It is all finally clear now. We know who will be playing each other and what seeds the teams are. Both conferences have great matchups and it will be very interesting to see who comes out on top in each battle. Lots of back to back matchups from Week 17. Who will come out victorious this time?

AFC Playoff Matchups: Finally Clear

It is all finally very clear now with the stressful Week 17 over. Below are the Wild Card weekend matchups for the AFC.

New York Jets @ Cincinnati Bengals
Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots

Both are very interesting. Let's break these matchups down.
New York and Cincinnati met this week and it looks like the Jets are whooping the Bengals. But, don't let this make you think it will be so easy next week. Remember, the Bengals probably were not trying as hard as they would in the playoffs. Also, this time, it will be in Cincinnati. I pick the Bengals to go back home and beat the New York Jets.

Ravens and Patriots should be a good game. One key factor though, Brady has lost one of his best WR for the rest of the season in Wes Welker with a torn ACL. How will this effect the Patriot offense with Welker being a key factor. In the loss to the Houston Texans this week, Julian Edelman had 10 receptions for 103 yards. The Patriots should look to use him as they would Welker in the playoffs. I'm picking the Patriots to beat the Ravens and then go into San Diego and lose the next week. The Patriots are 2-6 on the road this season.

NFC Playoff Matchups

The NFC was a lot easier to figure out with less scenarios for the Wild Card.
Here are the Wild Card matchups for the NFC next week.

Green Bay Packers @ Arizona Cardinals
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys

On Sunday, Green Bay went into Arizona and whooped the Cardinals 33-7. Though Kurt Warner did not play the whole game, I think the Packers will be able to go back again into Arizona and win another. The Packers are getting hot at the right time of the year. Aaron Rodgers and his offense are absolutely dominating.

Well, on Sunday, the Cowboys looked like they could beat anyone. They shutout the Eagles with now trouble! Shut out the Eagles! That is not one easy thing to do. The Cowboys also are getting hot at the right time of year. The Philadelphia Eagles go into Dallas next week just like this week and they lose to the Cowboys again.

Very interesting how in both conferences everyone plays the same team they played last week (except Baltimore and New England).
