After a both team stalled with 3-and-outs, TCU returned a funny looking line drive punt from Brotzman returning it to their own 30. Gaining great field position.
On the first play Dalton threw a beautiful pass to the end zone to Horned Frog receiver Antione Hicks. Hicks had beaten Brandyn Thompson this time for what would have been a game tying score. But Hicks just dropped the ball in the end zone.
Choir boy must have been "prayed up".
That would be as close as the Horned Frogs got to a score the rest of the game.
TCU’s last drive would have to be 99 yards as Boise down their punt on the one yard line with only 1:35 remaining.
Showing the poise and heart of a champion, TCU marched down the field in the hurry up offense. Again getting to the 30-yard line, within striking distance.
Dalton lofted a pass to young that hung in the air too long. Choir boy, easily the MVP of the game, tipped the ball into the air. Venable (fat boy) came and picked off the tipped ball and slid to the ground.
14-0. Boise State’s perfect season is a reality.
They are the second team in the history of college football to reach the 14-0 mark.(Ohio Sterio....err, State University is the other.)
Where do you rank them now this year? Undefeated, with wins over TCU and Oregon this year, I would think they have to finish No. 2 overall in the nation.
Once again this situation screams playoffs! The Broncos think they can beat anybody they line up against. And they have.
Obama! Help us out bro…
