The Toronto Raptors and the Indiana Pacers are discussing a trade that most Raptors fans like. The trade is T.J Ford, Rasho Nesterovic and likely their 17th draft pick to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal.

This trade would be very effective for both teams. Toronto will get stronger defense from the six-time All Star. Jermaine will help Raptors franchise player Chris Bosh on both sides of the ball. First-overall draft pick Andrea Bargnani will get more playing time if the deal is successful.

The Pacers would get a better point guard in T.J. Ford to contribute from the three-point line and dish the ball to Danny Granger and Jamal Tinsley. Rasho had a major improvement last year, and will be a great defender with Troy Murphy or Mike Dunleavy. The Pacers can get another great player with their 17th overall pick if the trade is successful.

Both teams are hoping to improve their offense and defense.
