Villanova's Yarou back to basketball

VILLANOVA, Pa.(AP) — Villanova forward Mouphtaou Yarou is ready
to play after being sidelined for several weeks with hepatitis
B.

The 6-foot-10 freshman practiced Thursday after he was cleared
by doctors. Yarou started the first two games but was sidelined
before a November tournament in Puerto Rico.

Coach Jay Wright says he will evaluate Yarou in practice before
deciding if he can play in games. Villanova opens its Big East
schedule Jan. 2 at Marquette.

Hepatitis B is transmitted through exposure to infected blood
and can cause serious liver damage.
