Current Texas Tech coach Mike Leach is looking to get.....Umm i mean former Coach Mike Leach, Texas Tech fired the coach after his attempt to get a temporary injunction order, so he could coach Texas Tech in the Alamo Bowl

Leach's attorney was handed papers that stated he had been fired and "causes effective immediately."

Mike Leach's amid allegations that he mistreated a player was most likely the reason. First he was suspended, now he is fired. Bruce Feldman thought that Texas Tech and the organization had an "Toxic relationship."

Although there was suppose to be a hearing today, but that doesn't matter now anyways. Mike Leach has been given the boot

Mike Leach is most likely going to try to appeal this, because he was suppose to be getting an 8,000 dollar bonus at the beginning of the year. He is a great coach with a bad ending, he was close to a big 12 championship and had his team in the bowl often

However the contract say if he was to be fired he would receive 4,000 for every year left on the contract.
