Alando Tucker, the 29th pick in the 2007 draft, was recently traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The move is created by a want to save money. This deal will save the Phoenix Suns around one million dollars in luxury taxes.

The Timberwolves will also receive a conditional 2nd round draft pick and $100,000 from Phoenix. In return, the Suns will recieve point guard, Jason Hart. In all likelihood, the Suns will probably waive Jason Hart in order to save money and keep Jarron Collins on their roster.

The Suns are still responsible for paying the remainder of Tucker's 1.07 million dollars. In the end, this will save the Suns money, because it helps them pay less luxury tax.

This deal comes after rumors of Hart being traded to New Orleans for Devin Brown. Just liking the Suns trading away draft picks a couple years ago, this is solely an effort to avoid a large amount of luxury tax, since they're over the luxury cap.
