Bret Hart Will Host Monday Night Raw on Jan 4

Sean JacksonContributor IIIJune 23, 2016

The Dec. 28 version of Raw proved to be very interesting. During the middle of the program Vince McMahon came out to tell the crowd Bret Hart was going to be the host of next week’s Raw .

But every time he tried to get the words out he couldn’t. Then entered Shawn Michaels.

Michaels came out of left field asking for a rematch with the Undertaker at WrestleMania 26. He then went on to “convince” McMahon that bringing back Hart will only “bring good things.”

It seems to be evident a storyline between Bret Hart and Vince McMahon will go down. It would only make sense for Bret to comeback and rewrite the “screw job” when he left the company.

Whether this translates into a match at WrestleMania is up in the air. When Vince brought up that “Bret screwed Bret” it was a dead giveaway that somewhere along the line Bret is going to answer this.

When Bret confronts Vince next week it will make for excellent television. How Shawn Michaels will factor into this is also up in the air.

Bret could schedule Shawn to fight the whole cast of Raw just to get back at him. Who knows? All that is known is this could be the most interesting Raw in some time.

Bret will finally be back on WWE television. His first appearance will be in the same venue he won the first King of the Ring back in 1993. For Bret’s fans this has been an event 12 years in the making.
