The National Football League has announced that they will be moving next week's game that features the Bengals and the Jets to Sunday night after the game was originally scheduled for 1 pm ET that day.  The game will air nationally on NBC and its local affiliates.

This Sunday Night Football appearance marks just the third time that the Bengals have made an appearance since NBC took over the Sunday night game in 2006.  The games were a regular season match-up against Pittsburgh in 2007 and a preseason game against the Redskins in 2006.

The Bengals (10-5) have already clinched their playoff spot and will be the AFC North Division champs.  However, the New York Jets (8-7) are sitting on the cusps of a playoff appearance from the AFC wild card.

The new kickoff time on NBC is set for Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
