Not a Bad Guy

EUGENE,OR - NOVEMBER 14: Running back LeGarrette Blount #9 of the Oregon Ducks heads out on to the field for warms up before the game against the Arizona State Sun Devils at Autzen Stadium on November 14, 2009 in Eugene, Oregon. It marks the first game that Blount will play in since he punched a Boise State Bronco player after Oregon's loss to Boise State in September. (Photo by Steve Dykes/Getty Images)

(RB) LeGarrette Blount is a player everyone knows about for the wrong reasons and has forgotten how talented he is. This 6’2 240 pound back was a hammer of the Oregon’s 2 man wrecking crew. He even averaged over 6 yards per carry at one point. When LeGarrett Blount threw that punch, it cost him almost his entire senior season and millions of dollars in draft status. He went from being a day 1 to getting himself blacklisted. LeGarrett has had the opportunity to be humbled and now understands all of what he can lose; because of this I don’t think he is going to be the next Laurence Phillips. It is better this happened in college and not in the pros.
