Gang Green has to look towards the future in the offseason next year. Will they get a wide receiver, a defensive tackle, a cornerback, or something else? Some things we will do will be in our front office. This offseason will be meant to get Sanchez into a system that he likes and to improve our defense into one that spreads fear.
Ever since Dez Bryant was a freshman I wanted him to be a Jet. In my opinion he is the next Randy Moss or Larry Fitzgerald! He can stretch defenses like the wide recievers on the Jets can't.
In 2010 I say Leon goes to the Patriots so the Jets trade the Saints a second round pick in 2011, 7th rounder in 2010, Robert Turner, and Kellen Clemens. He is our new overpaid Leon Washington.
After this season Shottenheimer will be fired and we will need a new Offensive Coordinator. Rex Ryan is a defensive guru and Weis is an offensive guru. This is a match made from heaven. Also seeing Weis and Ryan on the same sideline would make my day!
This season Dustin Keller has been terrible. He has been dropping passes like he was playing Hot Potato. A tight end would be a pivotal part of Sanchez's growth.
Reggie Bush is injury prone so we would need another kick returner to back him up. I say we don't keep Braylon Edwards and we don't have Stuckey anymore so either he can go in the slot or be a down the field threat.
Vince Wilfork is a big man and we will need someone to either replace Kris Jenkins or back him up. I say we trade Kris Jenkins for a 3rd and 5th round pick to the Raiders.
We have quality linebackers already but the more the merrier especially if it is a Patriot. The Patriots will definitely not keep him and many teams will think he is a team cancer so the Jets will get another loud-mouth cocky player to add to their collection.
All of the Jets cornerbacks can't cover besides Revis. This move will be a lot like the Ty Law signing but not during the season.
We will trade Kerry Rhodes for Bob Sanders. The Colts want Bob Sanders out and the Jets want Kerry Rhodes out so it will be a perfect deal for both teams. This deal will be hard to predict how it pans out for both teams!
