Many people don’t know about Chris Redman, but you should because he is a very solid quarterback. His numbers are not eye-popping, but when looking at his body of work he reminds me of Rich Gannon, and with the right team could have the same type of success that Gannon had. Redman has been in the league for 7 years and in his time with the Falcons, he has shown that he has a great understanding for the game. Redman helped a third-string running back look pretty good and kept the offense moving with some good quarterbacking; great quarterbacks will make the players around him look better. The fact that he is 32 is not a big deal because he did spend some time out of the league and his body is healthy. Redman is a veteran quarterback that has shown he has earned a chance to lead a team. He is my number 2 top free agent quarterback in 2010.
