Boston Celtics: Luck Did Not Help Red Sox

Mike DiMauro@miked31784Senior Writer IJune 21, 2008

The Boston Celtics were honored during the pre-game activities at the Boston Red Sox home game last night against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Earlier in the week, the Celtics won championship No. 17. I guess that luck did not help the Red Sox last night as they lost to the Cardinals 5-4.

Home runs were hit from Schumaker, Molina, and LaRue for the Cardinals and Lugo hit his second home run for the season for the Red Sox.

Game two of the series will take place at 3:55PM (ET) on Fox. Boggs (1-0) will go up against Daisuke Matsuzaka (8-0). Game three will take place on Sunday at 1:35PM (ET) with Pineiro (2-3) going up against Lester (6-3).
