Hi folks,

Since I don't have internet up here at the North Pole, I asked my good friend Larry to forward this letter to you all. 

First of all, there are two things you may not know about old Santa. First, my suit is Crimson, not red. I wish all the artists and actors could get that right. How else do think Alabama won 12 national championships?

Secondly, though Nick may not be my son, he may be another St. Nick, at least to the Alabama Nation, and he's a personal favorite of mine.

Now you know Santa keeps a list of who's been naughty and who's been nice and for the last two years I've been having to pay Nick back for those, "I won't be the next coach at Alabama" statements.

Combine that with the fact that Santa wasn't too happy with those past NCAA violations, the hiring of that stripper loving old fart, the secretary chaser and worshiping of a false God named Franchione, I had no other choice but to keep them on the naughty list for a long time.

But young Nick has paid his penitence and the rest of the Alabama Nation has paid up their dues for past transgressions, now it's time for him to reap the rewards for being so good.

So it's time for Santa to bring another national championship back to Alabama.

To the Texas fans and all the others, keep putting out those cookies and cocoa and all, because you never know, but Santa is all Crimson, in suit and at heart.
