NFL Draft Links (12/23): Damien Williams likely enter Draft

As much as I’d love to see the Trojans’ top receiver stick around for another one, this would be the correct decision. Williams’ playmaking abilities make him a definite early round selection, and pre-draft events will allow an opportunity to solidify first-round placement.
Williams will bolster what I see as an average receiving class. An announcement is expected soon, though most sources say, Williams decision is to turn pro. (Daily Breeze)
Williams, who caught a team-high 58 passes with six touchdowns this season, earned his college degree last week and informed friends he would not be around USC next semester because he would be training for the draft.
“There’s a lot of indications (he is going pro) because he graduated,” USC coach Pete Carroll said Tuesday. “We’re talking about it. We haven’t had a serious meeting yet. His parents have been around here a lot.”
