The Atlanta Beat announced two more additions to their roster last week in Sophia Mundy and Ramona Bachmann.

Mundy, a midfielder from Houston Texas, played for the Boston Breakers last season in the WPS.  She played the previous two years for Afturelding in the Icelandic Premier League where she played under Beat Head Coach Gareth O'Sullivan.

Mundy was acquired as a free agent.

Bachmann is an 18 year-old forward who hails from Switzerland. The youngest member of the Beat's current roster, she played for Umea in the Damallsvenskan for the last two and a half years. In 2006, she was a member of the Swiss U-20 National team that competed at the Under-20 World Championship in Russia.

It didn't stop there. The young forward won the Swedish Championship, the Swedish Cup, the Swedish Super Cup, and the prestigious UEFA Cup final.  This year she was named Swiss Soccer Player of the Year and was the Swedish Vice-Champion.

Bachmann was acquired by the Beat as the team's number one pick in the Expansion draft.
