Mike Lowell's Thumb Problem or His Age Problem...

Mike Lowell is getting too old for baseball. I mean he just doesn't make the plays anymore. He doesn't ever have a hot bat. 3rd base is to much for him. He needs to be riding the pine.

He had 9 errors this past season. He isn't the best 3rd baseman in the league, that's for sure. He should probably just play only about 3-4 games a week. Just a sub in type of guy, or a pinch hitter. He would do better this way.

Lowell is a good ball player. But he is just simply too old! He should retire in the next 2-3 years. At least he should think about it.

The Red Sox need to think about getting some young kid that's good. Like that "Strasburg," or just to give Youkilis the spot.

Youkilis is young and a great fielder. Or try to get Strasburg for some good pitching. Just as long as he stays healthy...
