Kansas City Chiefs Could Play Spoiler

There is no better feeling than preventing your rival from making it to the playoffs. Whether it is in college football and you cost your archrival a chance at the national championship, or in the NFL to cost them a wild card spot in the playoffs.

The Chiefs can do that in consecutive weeks when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals and the hated Denver Broncos. If Denver were to lose it will almost surely cost the Broncos a shot at a wild card spot. The Bengals would most likely have to lose the next one to weeks to miss out of the playoffs.

The Chiefs will have an opportunity to beat a Bengals team which is currently 9-5, but only one game in front of the Ravens. A loss would have Cincinnati spinning out of control and possibly out of the playoffs.

The Chiefs are currently 3-11 and has absolutely no business winning either game, but isn't that what the NFL is all about. Anything can happen on any given Sunday.

The Broncos dominated the Chiefs in their first meeting, beating the Chiefs 44-13. A loss to the Chiefs now would be horrible if you are a Broncos fan. It would be a huge disappointment, especially since Denver started the season hot, going 6-0 out of the gates. But, since that 6-0 start they have gone 2-6 the next eight games.

I can't think of any better Christmas present than a couple wins to end the season. Those wins would propel this young Chiefs into the offseason and would give them all kinds of momentum.

The chances of the Chiefs even winning one of these games are very slim, but both games...give me a break! I have seen weirder things but Chiefs fans, you better have a backup Christmas present just in case.
