I'm a Wizards fan, so evidently, I don't get many smiles watching our games. Yet, one think that has never failed to make me laugh, has been Mike Miller's hairdo. It' not even that flashy, much less funny, but seeing him running down the court with a bunch of shaved heads, it's just always made me smile.
There are obviously many funny hairdo's in the NBA, so I took the liberty of tracking them down and make a starting line-up based on the funniest hairdos.
Some you will know because of how iconic they've become (Ben Wallace), but others are just bench players that got messed up on a hair-cut.
So--without further ado,
Enjoy these slides, and don't feel ashamed to laugh
What is there to say? Lopez was obviously not fit to have dreads, yet, refusing the law of physics, took them. Huge dreads on a huge white guy--not the best fit I've ever seen.
Watching a Sun's game, it's hard to concentrate on the beauty of the game, when all I can pay attention to is a what seems to be a brown, hairy mop swinging up and down on the head of their center.
Believe, it's distracting.
There's a new movie out, one my friends saw recently--it is titled: "Where the Wild Things Are" Well, look no further; one of them is on the Cleveland Cavalier floor.
Varejao sports a very unique type of hair, it almost seems as if Lopez copied it.
But, what Varejao's hair does that sets him apart from the others, is the frantic jumping up and down it does as he sprints down the court.
Varejao, I have awarded you spot at Power Forward for my team,
Don't disappoint me by cutting your hair.
Hermann is now a bench-warmer for the Pistons, but he was awarded a unanimous vote into this team. He has the iconic long, blond surfer/hippie hair of the League.
Hermann is my vote for best hairdo of the league, and here's hoping he keeps it up.
Morrison has the ideal "I don't care what my hair looks like" look, with his uncombed long hair, and terribly shaved mustache.
He obviously doesn't comb, much less focus while shaving.
Like a perfect match, his game has become as bad to look at as his hair is.
Though he doesn't have the funniest hair, Iverson has one of the most iconic hair. So many players have followed with a copy of Allen's cornrows, proving how much of a trend-setter he has become.
He's also sported afro's, and dreads.
Note: Though this section is for funniest hairdos and not iconic, there were no PG's in the league with any original style of hair other than A.I.
Noah may have the funniest hair in the L, but, unlike the other's on this list, I've grown somewhat bored of it. In Florida, it made sense, as if he were the crazy Center who should not be messed with.
This rep. has not flown well into the NBA.
As much as this picture made me laugh, it may be time for a cut.
1. Scott Pollard: Brings a new unique and hilarious hair and facial look to the league every year.
2. Louis Admunson: For a small white guy like him, it's hilarious seeing him in his sumo hairdo.
3. Ben Wallce: Perhaps the most iconic hairdo of all time.
