The Toronto Blue Jays have officially sent pitcher Roy Halladay to the Phildelphia Phillies in a four team trade also including the Seattle Mariners & Oakland Athletics.

The Jays sent Halladay & cash considerations, projected as $6 million to the Phillies for prospects Kyle Drabek, Michael Taylor & Travis d’Arnaud, than flipped Taylor to the Oakland Athletics for third baseman Brett Wallace.

The Phillies than sent Cliff Lee to the Seattle Mariners for prospects Phillippe Aumont, Tyson Gillies & Juan Ramirez in what was worked out between the four teams over the past weeks that included the Winter Meetings.

The Jays will have to get geared for the life without Halladay for the first time and they don,t have a very good rotation either. Lets see if they can do the job and make the playoffs.
