It was a long and hard fought game on Monday night despite the end result a 3-2 loss at home to the struggling Flyers. The black and gold not only lost the game but also defense man Mark Stuart. Stuart had been red hot adding goals, assists and a physical style of play that has been a key to the success of this Boston club all season. Stuart is said to be out five to six weeks with a broken sternum, so Matt Hunwick will be seen skating along side Johnny Boychuck. Hunwick has not played for a few games but should be ready come game time Friday night against the Blackhawks. This Blackhawks team has been an up and coming team out west and not to many teams have had an easy time beating them. With the addition of former Red Wing and Penguin Marian Hossa this team has added to its already powerful and skillful offensive unit. Boston is going to have to be ready to play smart defense and connect on scoring chances if they want to beat the Blackhawks.
