Football, NFL, NFC East, New York Giants, Breaking News, Ahmad Bradshaw

Oh no!  Ahamad Bradshaw, my favorite player in the NFL—as of week 16 against the Bills, when he had an electric game in the stormy weather in Ralph Wilson Stadium—is in trouble with the law.

These types of issues were the reason that he fell so far in the Draft to the seventh round.

Bradshaw has so much potential to be an elite running back. He plays with passion, runs tough, and has no fears of taking on stronger defenders.  He really can't be pulling these kind of stunts that will turn him into another Pacman Jones.

Bradshaw was a cult hero for all of my Giants fan friends because of the excitement he brought to the game.  During the Super Bowl, he dragged Pats DL Ty Warren after a powerful run.  He really does have the ability to be a special player.

But someone needs to tell him that there isn't room in his career for this, and that he needs to behave. There are a lot of running backs that would love to be part of a one-two punch with Brandon Jacobs. There are a lot of players who would do anything to be on a Super Bowl-winning team.

Ahmad, you have both of these, so take advantage of this opportunity. Hopefully at training camp, Bradshaw will be focused on the season and his talent will outweigh his off-field baggage.

  1. I don't know what the heck he did to violate probation but it's very disturbing to think that he's sitting in lockup for the next 30 days or so. Very disappointing.

  2. 30 days??? for violation probation??? how's that.??? Others get a lot more in Tazewell Virginia where they love to violate everyones civil rights. I know he's not a bad kid and know him personally. That's just not a good town to be in or near these days. Seems as though they're out to make the town every penny and I'm sure he paid his penny. :) Sorry he got caught up in the mess there... Hopefully he'll get out of the town and stay in NY or anywhere but there. Ahmad is a good kid and so are are most of the others around that area that end up in the court system. They don't help the youth there they try to keep them in the system and control everyone in there path except the ones on the inside. I know you know what I mean. Good luck Bradshaw you almost escaped...

  3. Calm down people. It's just a parole violation from when he was in college. This is not a big deal.

  4. While I dont know him personally I know some of his family, these incidents were in the past and not indicative of the Bradshaw of today. Perhaps the blogger should get his act together and look at some facts before writing such an uninformed statement? What say you, Michael?

    1. ok i dont know what happend but I really would like it if my favorite player in the NFL does not do anything stupid anymore... The title is a tad strong i will agree.. but he did drop in the draft in 07 because of his past, and that is the point to not let his past get in the way of his future

  5. The juvenile offense was a gang-rape trial... I went to Graham High School, that's how I know
